Firestone 006012 Product Description
The Firestone Winterforce?2?UV is a studdable winter tire engineered for SUVs, crossovers, and light trucks that need reliable traction and control in cold, snowy, icy, and slushy conditions. Built with a special cold-weather tread compound that stays flexible at low temperatures, this tire maintains grip when all-season tires become stiff and lose traction. Its directional tread pattern with deep circumferential grooves, wide lateral notches, and open shoulder slots helps channel slush and standing water away from the contact patch to improve hydroplaning resistance in wet winter weather. A high density of siping provides thousands of biting edges for traction on snow and ice, and many sizes are pinned to accept optional metallic studs for even greater grip in severe icy conditions. The Winterforce?2?UV carries the Severe Snow Service (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) designation, indicating performance in demanding winter environments.
Key Features
- COLD-WEATHER COMPOUND: Rubber compound specifically formulated to remain flexible in low temperatures, improving winter traction on snow and ice compared to all-season tires.
- EFFLUENT WATER & SLUSH EVACUATION: Directional tread pattern with deep circumferential grooves and wide lateral notches helps channel water and slush out of the contact area to resist hydroplaning.
- HIGH SIPE DENSITY: Thousands of biting edges created by dense siping improve traction on packed snow and ice, enhancing acceleration and braking confidence.
- REINFORCED BUILD FOR HEAVIER VEHICLES: Twin steel belts over a polyester casing balance strength with ride comfort while supporting SUV and light truck loads.
- STUDDABLE DESIGN FOR ICE: Many sizes accept optional TSMI #11 metallic studs, giving extra grip on icy surfaces when conditions demand maximum traction.

Couldn't locate the parts for 2013 Civic Si Sedan. Front struts are an Anomaly found them at Capital autoparts. Great service and great parts. Shipping by CanPar sucked however

Great customer service. I placed an order for wheels and tires and it was an easy transaction. Make sure you read the expected lead times for delivery however. I misread that part, but the order did arrive in the correct timeframe stated. The Hostile rims and Hercules tires look great. Thank you
