Firestone 000252 Product Description
The Firestone Firehawk PVS is a performance winter tire engineered for cold weather traction, snow, and slush, originally developed for law enforcement and high-speed emergency driving in winter conditions. It features a winter-optimized compound that stays flexible in low temperatures and a symmetric tread design with high-density siping to provide confident grip on snow and ice-covered roads. Wide circumferential grooves and large lateral notches efficiently evacuate slush and water from the contact patch to maintain stability and traction in challenging winter circumstances. Reinforced tread elements enhance steering response and high-speed stability, helping ensure dependable performance throughout the variable conditions of winter driving.
Key Features
- DESIGNED FOR DEMANDING USE: Purpose-built construction supports performance under aggressive winter driving and emergency situations.
- EFFICIENT WATER & SLUSH EVACUATION: Wide circumferential grooves and lateral notches channel water and slush from beneath the tread to reduce hydroplaning and maintain contact with the road.
- HIGH SIPING DENSITY: Dense siping increases the number of biting edges for improved grip and braking on snow and icy surfaces.
- RESPONSIVE HANDLING: Reinforced tread elements enhance steering precision and stability at higher speeds, even in winter conditions.
- WINTER-OPTIMIZED COMPOUND: Special cold-weather rubber formulation stays flexible in low temperatures to provide strong traction on snow and ice.

Great customer service. I placed an order for wheels and tires and it was an easy transaction. Make sure you read the expected lead times for delivery however. I misread that part, but the order did arrive in the correct timeframe stated. The Hostile rims and Hercules tires look great. Thank you
