Dorman - OE Solutions 686-449 Product Description

When an original equipment wheel hub assembly is due for replacement on certain Ram and Ram Classic trucks, the job can become difficult because rust has grown between the surfaces of the steering knuckle and the wheel hub bearing, ultimately resulting in the two assemblies seizing together. Although this problem is common in Salt Belt regions, it can also occur over time under normal vehicle use and when it does it can make the knuckle challenging or impossible to salvage. This Dorman OE FIX loaded steering knuckle offers the labor-saving convenience of being pre-assembled and features a patent pending and proprietary coating that helps prevent corrosion between surfaces, providing a more permanent and reliable repair than the factory knuckle design. This kit includes all the needed components already assembled for a fast, simple, safe installation. It includes a new front left side knuckle, wheel bearing, hub and application-specific hardware.

Key Features

  • mproved design - this loaded steering knuckle has a proprietary coating that helps prevent rust forming between surfaces, providing a more permanent and reliable repair than the OE knuckle design
  • Saves labor - pre-assembled with all the necessary component for a fast, simpler and safe installation on specified Ram trucks, with no shop press required
  • Location-specific - this kit includes a new front left side knuckle, wheel bearing, hub and application-specific hardware
  • Trustworthy quality - backed by a team of product experts in the United States and more than a century of automotive experience

Couldn't locate the parts for 2013 Civic Si Sedan. Front struts are an Anomaly found them at Capital autoparts. Great service and great parts. Shipping by CanPar sucked however

Great customer service. I placed an order for wheels and tires and it was an easy transaction. Make sure you read the expected lead times for delivery however. I misread that part, but the order did arrive in the correct timeframe stated. The Hostile rims and Hercules tires look great. Thank you
